As cowardice might be strength, So too might God have a hand on his country, an eye on his men, and a pistol in his pocket. For if no more than faith Keeps us here residing Why then do we fear a God who fights us For love of ourselves? For thence we shall come to a realization of such a love of majestic rise From the hand of a God Who loves us enough to Fight for Us.
Fear of ourselves is in no man a lie For we do fear ourselves as our God For to take away shaming and envy and pride We walk upon soil so far untrod. As we rose up against the Tyrant Tis justice we seek to defend So now we ought not seek glory Lest we forget prior paid sin.
